Considering the fact that California is currently in its third year of drought and that our governor has declared an official state of emergency as a result of that drought, it’s not too surprising to find people around here thinking about ways to conserve water, people like Ryan Arroyo of sunny San Diego.  In fact, Ryan’s passion for water conservation is what led him to start his own company, called My Water Future, which revolves around water conservation education and water conservation technology that helps people save water and money.

His website is a one stop shop for water saving fixtures and gadgets, selling everything from Watersense labeled toilets and low flow shower heads to smart sprinkler controls and “Toilet Tune Up Kits“.  We especailly love the Weathermatic Smartline Weather Station (pictured above), which can save 20 – 50% on annual water usage by automatically adjusting watering times for each zone, 365 days a year using on-site, real time weather data.  Almost everything he offers is easy to install and, in some cases, can pay for itself after a while in savings on your water bills.
