A few conversations at West Coast Green
A week ago I had a fun day at West Coast Green talking with lots of old and new friends. You can read some of the conversations I had (and believe me, be glad you are reading them rather than listening to them, as I was a coughing fool). In between my annoying coughs were some great questions and good discussion about he future of prefab and green homes.
I had a “firehouse chat” with Becky Brun, editor of Sustainable Industries and a room of West Coast Greenies. You can read parts of that conversation by clicking here: www.blog.sustainableindustries.com
Another interview you can read was with Justin Moresco with Earth2Tech (a super informative green business blog/news source). Some of the questions he asked me:
-What opportunities do you see for startups in the prefab space?
-How much does technology play in prefab, or is it just a new way of doing architecture?
-What were the main lessons you learned from MKD?
-What would you have done differently in the way you executed with MKD?
-What will it take for prefab homes to become a significant portion of our built environment?
-Will the scale-up require big investors?
You can read that interview by clicking here: www.earth2tech.com
And then, of course, there were the conversations that happened after the tequila started flowing, but that is a whole different story.
