green rainwater

Though it may not feel like it where you are, as of yesterday, it is now officially spring! In fact, by the time it’s over, this will have been quite an exciting week: Monday was St. Patrick’s Day, yesterday was the spring equinox, and Sunday is Easter, which is always a wonderful reminder that spring is upon us. One of the loveliest parts of this season is springtime showers, which are especially important to those of us who live in areas where the summers are dry. So celebrate spring and springtime showers by building your very own Green Rainwater system - a DIY water catchment system that will let you collect and store rainwater to use for watering your garden when the season gets drier. We designed this project to not only be a beautiful addition to your garden, but also to help you use less fresh, potable water where it’s not needed and to live a little greener!
